2013 Sundance Film Festival Predictions: Steph Green’s Run and Jump

Will Forte. In a non-comedic role. In the backdrop of Ireland? A participant at the 2010 June Screenwriters Lab and a 2010 Annenberg Film Fellowship Grant,  commercials and short film Oscar nominated helmer Steph Green (left on the pic above) began lensing in her debut film, Run and Jump in mid June of this year. Currently in post-production, the drama sees Sharon Horgan and Maxine Peake co-star.

Gist: Based on an original screenplay by Ailbhe Keogan (right on the pic above) and co-scripted by Green, when her husband returns home after suffering a stroke that has left his personality fundamentally changed, a spirited Irish woman struggles to rebuild her family while finding comfort in an American ethnographer sent to document the recovery process.

Prediction: World Cinema Dramatic Competition and could be shown at the Berlin Film Fest or Tribeca.
