2021 Sundance Film Festival Predictions: Jerrod Carmichael’s On the Count of Three

After directing some television items in 2018-19, comedian, actor and obvious star of the The Carmichael Show, Jerrod Carmichael officially decided to move into film directing. He went into production on his directorial debut in Canada’s capitol city (no not Toronto, but Ottawa) working from a script from Ramy co-creators Ari Katcher and Ryan Welch. On the Count of Three stars Christopher Abbott, Tiffany Haddish, Henry Winkler, J.B. Smoove and Lavell Crawford.

Gist: This is being described as a darkly comedic thriller.
