As hard it is to predict, the sidebar section all the way at the other end of the Croisette contains a trio of titles that were tipped to show up at the fest by Cannes insiders (we had Fabio Grassadonia, Antonio Piazza’s Salvo (here), David Lowery’s Ain’t Them Bodies Saints (here), Katell Quillévéré Suzanne – (here) in our predictions list) and out of the 1200 films submitted, six first films and four sophomore films were selected by Artistic Director Charles Tesson and his committee.
