When life gives you lemons, make a feature film out of it. A union that came about by a mutual appreciation artistic sensibilities, Alma Har’el finds here way into narrative fiction (and Sundance for that matter) with material that is deeply connected to her own difficult rapport with not only her father, but addiction. Among Park City’s buzz titles prior to the fest, Honey Boy passed the test becoming a buzz title after it’s premiere launch date.
