When life gives you lemons, make a feature film out of it. A union that came about by a mutual appreciation artistic sensibilities, Alma Har’el finds here way into narrative fiction (and Sundance for that matter) with material that is deeply connected to her own difficult rapport with not only her father, but addiction.
