Cannes Critics’ Panel Day 11: Im Sang-soo’s The Taste of Money

The main competition’s most bizarre inclusion was not so surprisingly slotted at the very end of the fest. Two years after premiering The Housemaid, Im Sang-soo’s 7th feature titled The Taste of Money is the sections’ B-movie entry – many wonder why this colossal waste of celluloid wasn’t placed somewhere else in festival our critic’s panned the film, giving the film an average of one star out of five. Eric Lavallée is the founder, CEO, editor-in-chief, film journalist, and critic at IONCINEMA.com, established in 2000.
