Cornish is among the future’s ‘Bright Star’

Scripted by Campion, Bright Star is based on the three-year romance between 19th century poet John Keats and Fanny Brawne, which was cut short by Keats' untimely death at age 25. Cornish has been doings somersaults since well, Somersault. She has just completed Shekhar Kapur’s The Golden Age and is onboard Kimberly Peirce’s anti-war film Stop-Loss. Those lucky enough to attend Cannes will get to see Campion’s next piece – she is one among 35 in Chacun son cinema.
