Teenagers like to experiment. Drugs happens to be one of the items at the top of that list. Duane Hopkins‘ directorial debut shows what occurs when drugs take a hold of a person, evokes the overbearing guilt that is associated with feeling responsible for someones death and does it under a microscope that might come in shades of blue, gray and depressing – but is all the more unsettling. Part of a Brit invasion at this year’s Cannes, Hopkins was on hand to present Better Things at the Espace Miramar. [Note: Full review coming soon].

Your Scream). The 12 minute short gave Pablo Lamar a reason to come to Cannes.
