IndiePix Celebrates Warwick Thornton’s ‘Samson and Delilah’ this October

Date:

IndiePix have some big plans in store for their latest acquisition. Despite being a “web-based” distribution company, in the past they’ve managed to grab a Venice Film Festival winner Women Without Men and now, they’ve grabbed a Cannes camera d’or winner in Warwick Thornton’s Samson and Delilah. The Australian film will be released at the Cinema Village theater (10.15) and the brand new IndieScreen (Brooklyn), at the Aero Theater in Santa Monica, California and a theater in Washington DC with all screenings presented within the context of an event.

Samson and Delilah’s world is small- an isolated community in the Central Australian desert. When tragedy strikes they turn their backs on home and embark on a journey of survival. Lost, unwanted and alone they discover that life isn’t always fair, but love never judges.
