IONCINEMA.com’s Top 20 Fall/Winter Preview: An Intro

My salivatory glands go into overdrive when the month of September arrives, and the fever gets worse when October slowly creeps in. Like any other year really, this year’s batch of fall and holiday films are highly anticipated fair, but I could honestly say that spots number 11 to 20 could have been filled by a number of other projects that interest this palette. IONCINEMA.com’s Top 20 Most Anticipated Fall/Holiday preview acts more as a barometer for what might potentially be worth your while and mirrors what I’m most looking forward to. A good portion of the pictures have already had their preems (Sundance, Berlin, Tribeca, Cannes) or have recently nabbed the spotlight at Telluride, Venice or Toronto (in a couple of days from now), which makes for a Top 20 that has a good chunk of sight unseen.

Be sure to come back tomorrow, as I’ll slowly unveil that Top 20, but for now, here is a visual display of some choices that could have made the grade….:
