New horizons for Killer Films

Date:

We don’t do much boob tube talk here on ioncinema.com, but this is one headline I couldn’t pass up. The Hollywood Reporter reports that Christine Vachon's Killer Films is moving into TV-land. They are teaming up with Lionsgate to develop and produce programming for broadcast and cable – I can’t wait to see the kind of original and most likely shocking programming that may come out of this output deal. Killer Films have already started producing projects that surfaced on the tele – the HBO Films television movie “Mrs. Harris” is one and the Showtime series “This American Life”.

Meanwhile on the film front, Killer have I'm Not There, Savage Grace, An American Crime and Then She Found Me to all be released in 07.
