Roadside Has the Hots for Julio DePietro’s ‘The Good Guy’

Date:

If they can make it here, they can make it anywhere. The modest in size Roadside Attractions can certainly relate to the big ambitions and dreams of the narrative in their second title pick-up for their eventual 2010 slate, setting the Tribeca played Julio DePietro romantic dramedy for a March release, right after the January release of the Berlin Film Festival pick-up Happy Tears.

Perhaps a good companion piece to the eventual release of Stone’s Wall Street 2The Good Guy sees actor Scott Porter play Tommy, a rising Wall Street star in a budding romance with a new girlfriend, Beth (Alexis Bledel). He begins mentoring a seemingly hapless new salesman (Bryan Greenberg) who befriends Beth, starting a chain of events that might ultimately lead to his downfall.
