Slade replaces Tarsem for Unthinkable

A switch of hands in the director’s chair as occured for Sidney Kimmel Entertainment‘s project co-written by Peter Woodward and Oren Moverman.

David Slade who got tons of favorable attention for Hard Candy and got slammed for 30 Days of Night – will be handling Unthinkable a thriller that delves
into psychological manipulation centering on the interrogation of a man who
knows the location of three nuclear weapons set to detonate in the U.S.

Currently in preproduction and in the casting phase, THR reports a summer start is being eyed and that Caldecot Chubb and Patriot Pictures’ Michael
Mendelsohn are also producing.

Tarsem (who’ll have his long-awaited The Fall in theaters sometime in March) was formerly attached to direct the project – but has since movied onto Warner Bros. The Unforgettable.
