The Gist: This is the story of a pregnant woman who loses her boyfriend in a car crash. She is then haunted by a mysterious, and violent, woman.
Fact: Late in the 07′, the French filmmaking duo of Maury and Bustillo were given the keys and pins for a possible franchise restart. A 2008 release is expected for Clive Barker Presents: Hellraiser.
See It: This year’s Alexandre Aja award goes to this euro-flavored, extremely gruesome, Cannes film festival selected nasty beast that had more red-colored corn syrup than the Spanish tomato-throwing town of Bunol had of tomato juice.
Release Date/Status?: A real shame if The Weinsteins’ plans actually go thrugh: they are looking to dump this title on a direct to DVD route via their newly created horror specific label in early March.
