Shot in China, working with the kind of tech folk (Corey Yuen) you would want for a swords and kung fu inspired project, the Wu-Tang Clan member/Hip Hop maestro has workshopped the project for more than half a decade, formed a working alliance with Russell Crowe, Tarantino and Eli Roth and while we expect a kick-ass soundtrack, this should be this year’s wild card project.

The Gist: This tells the epic story of warriors, assassins and a lone outsider hero in nineteenth-century China who must unite to destroy the clan traitor who would destroy them all. When the clans’ brewing war boils over, the stranger channels an ancient energy to transform himself into a human weapon.
