The Gist: Described as an improvised modern-day comedy set in London,Sally Hawkins stars as a teacher with an unstoppably sunny disposition. This tracks the jaded but electric Johnny (David Thewlis) on his odyssey through London.

Fact: This is a third Leigh film for actress Sally Hawkins.

See It: Not much is know on Leigh's newest - but his last film Vera Drake showed the filmmaker still had the stuff.

Release Date/Status?: Berlin film festival results will dedicate how quickly we get to see the film.

Review: Spring Fever

Review: Spring Fever

A heavily flawed film that does a disservice to its quintet of characters by abruptly ending each character's final chapter before it even begins making Spring Fever a film that never manages to find itself. Audiences who've followed his past efforts such as Purple Butterfly and Summer Palace will be puzzled by erotica without reason, by the undefined terms in which the characters are set in and the lack of dramatic focus.

So we didn't want to alienate a part of our audience because the film is about Pat more than anything.
