2018 PYIFF Dailies: Onwards and Awards | Day 10

Date:

The intimacy of smaller film festivals allow for a closer proximity between between those who create and those who contextualize and critique art. My final day of festing included a sit down with Beatriz Seigner, followed by an impromptu showing of Ash is Purest White (presented by Zhangke), followed by a bump into Lav Diaz (who we met earlier in the year in Berlin for Season of the Devil) and ended with a festive last dinner with a fest among journalists (always leave MUBI’s Daniel Kasman do the ordering).
