#12. Psychotherapy of a Plains Indian

Director/Writer: Arnaud Desplechin
Producers: Pascal Caucheteux
Distributor: Rights Available.

The Gist: This is based on George Devereux’s Reality and dream: Psychotherapy of a Plains Indian. Cast: Unknown

List Worthy Reasons…Call this my “hail mary” pick of the Top 100 list, as the chances of Desplechin’s project going into production and somehow being ready for 2011 are next to impossible. Fans of his more recent films Kings and Queen and A Christmas Tale should come to expect a different curriculum with this.

Release Date/Status?: This will be shot in the U.S. — not sure what the start date is.
