2025 American Film Festival – US in Progress: Talia Lugacy, Dash Shaw & Suzi Yoonessi Selected

Date:

Poland’s American Film Festival (November 6 to the 11th) have announced the lucky nine projects that will participate in this year’s US in Progress in Warsaw and Wrocław. Fiction projects in final stages of editing come to Poland to essentially tinder-match with several companies ready to help with all facets of post-production services. Among the projects we find Cryptozoo Dash Shaw‘s third feature film project Unknownia, the feature debut by Julia Baylis and Sam Guest in Pocket Dream (we reported on the project back in March). We have a project that was in the trades this week with Talia Lugacy directing Frances Fisher, Will Patton and Lauren Holly in Ruby Road and we also have Suzi Yoonessi presenting Mother Wolf – Melissa Leo toplines. Here are the projects we can look out for on the film festival circuit next year as early as Sundance (Good One) and as late as Venice (Familiar Touch) and and Toronto (Erupcja).
