#10: IN THE LOOP

Comments: With In the Loop‘s cast of B-lister cast, making the film’s theme the star of the poster was a smart move. It’s minimal, sure, but every element is specific. Everything seems in proper order which draws our eye to the tangled wire right in the middle of the page. The silhouette’s ties tell us these countries are in a state of confusion, and of course, the overall comedic tone is complimented by the goofy font and cute tagline. And while quotes on a poster usually seem excessive to me, this one from the Times fits right in for both it’s text and the source that’s vouching for the film.
