Not much here to expound on Production Weekly’s Twitter feed which reveals that James McAvoy and Laura Linney are top-lining Jacob Aaron Estes‘ next film – a West Coast shoot in Seattle sometime this summer. I’ll update the status of The Details once I get more details.
What I can add is that this would be Estes’ first project behind the camera since 2004’s Mean Creek – an engrossing coming-of-age portrait that saw demonstrated Estes’ skill-set in developing great characters from a rather young ensemble cast. Last we heard is that Estes was set to work on The Gifted with Ralph Fiennes – I have no clue what the status is with this biopic.
