Paramount Vantage picks Glosserman to Play ‘House’

Date:

Behind The Mask: The Rise Of Leslie Vernon was the horror indie film that could and was perhaps the calling card that writer/director Scott Glosserman needed to get his foot in the door. Now Variety reports that  Paramount Vantage will back a his pitch.

Written by Glosserman and Macy Raymond, Playing House revolves around a young couple who are preyed upon when they occupy an empty island mansion. ContraFilm's Beau Flynn and Tripp Vinson are producing.

This is a first of sorts for Paramount's indie arm – they showed horror with Al Gore's docu, but this is a step into an already crowded field with Lionsgate and Dimension Films churning out this sort of stuff on a regular basis.
