His first film got panned by critics (The Cell) and his most recent film is struggling to find the light of day in theaters (The Fall) – yet fellow filmmakers want to be like him, actors want to star in his films and he is the go-to director whenever you have sports gear, luxury cars or jeans to sell. Tarsem might not be the most sought after director for the silver screen but late last week Warner Bros. looked to him to bring his imagination and visual flair to a video game to the big screen project called The Unforgettable. Based on the Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment video game “The Condemned: Criminal Origins” and originally titled “Species X”, written by Kurt Sutter, this is about a police detective who realizes he might be from another world. In the course of a murder investigation, the protagonist cop has reason to question who he is as a man, until he realizes he's not a man. A tug-of-war emerges among a faction of good and evil aliens.
