It looks like The Wackness will be helmer Jonathan Levine’s ticket to a secure future career. According to THR, two projects have been added to Levine’s plate and he's not limiting himself to the confines of the indie realm.

But Timour Bekmambetov's Wanted, which releases in theaters today, isn't simply just a "shoot-em-up" pic; its a visually gripping, fantastical powerhouse, that will keep you glued to your sit until the credits roll.
IFC wasted no time picking up the romantic drama Medicine for Melancholy, which plays at the LA Film Fest this week, as Variety reports. This is following a plethora of well received screenings as the pic has already made the festival rounds earlier this year, including the San Francisco International Film Fest, SXSW and the Sarasota International Film Festival.
From zombies to man-spiders to really hairy ghosts, Sam Raimi knows how to entertain. And its usually in threes, as the helmer directed the Evil Dead and Spiderman trios and served as producer for The Grudge series (the third of which is due out in 2009).
