In a screenwriting process that would end up being more informed by Beatriz Seigner‘s hands-on docu approach, Los Silencios presents the secluded, no-man’s lands border Amazonian area with a sophisticated genre touch. A Directors’ Fortnight selected sophomore feature (which according to the filmmaker is night an day with her debut feature) is finally more concerned by what brings people (two types here) out from their hiding spots. Eric Lavallée is the founder, CEO, editor-in-chief, film journalist, and critic at IONCINEMA.com, established in 2000.
