Video Interview: Beatriz Seigner – Los Silencios | 2018 Pingyao Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon Intl. Film Festival

In a screenwriting process that would end up being more informed by Beatriz Seigner‘s hands-on docu approach, Los Silencios presents the secluded, no-man’s lands border Amazonian area with a sophisticated genre touch. A Directors’ Fortnight selected sophomore feature (which according to the filmmaker is night an day with her debut feature) is finally more concerned by what brings people (two types here) out from their hiding spots. I had the chance to sit down with the filmmaker at the 2018 Pingyao Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon Intl. Film Festival.
