2012 Cannes Film Festival Predictions: Nicolas Philibert’s La maison de la Radio

Date:

Gist: If selected this would perhaps be considered a novelty item for the fest — should interest a  strictly “French” viewers/media, but if Nicolas Philibert manages to make a bold statement about the art of listening then this journey into the heart of the Maison de la Radio, with the case study of Radio France.

Prediction: Philibert has a great standing with the fest — Etre et Avoir (2002) and Return to Normandie (2007) both played in Out of Comp and Special Screenings sections respectively- and this is exactly where we expect to find the docu item.
