Tessa Thompson’s star is shining bright. Her attention-grabbing and award-winning perf (Gotham Award for Breakthrough Actor) in Dear White People, led the actress down studio project avenue with roles in Selma, and Ryan Cooglar’s Creed and now according to Deadline, she is circling back to indie by working with yet another Sundance alumni in John Michael McDonagh’s third outing as a filmmaker. Starring Alexander Skarsgard and Michael Pena, Thompson will play a former stripper who ultimately ends up in a relationship with Terry (Skarsgard) in War On Everyone. Expect this to receive a festival showing sometime in ’16.
