A little bit of an oddball project that the folks at NEON would end up grabbing shortly after the film completed production in February of this year, Oz Perkins‘ Longlegs features the enigmatic Nicolas Cage (surrounded by Maika Monroe, Alicia Witt and Blair Underwood for what is essentially a horror thriller. Son of Anthony Perkins, Oz moonlights as an actor (for a good while now) but this is his fourth feature as a filmmaker.
Gist: Lee Harker, a talented new FBI agent, has been assigned to an unsolved case of a serial killer. As the investigation becomes more complicated and occult evidence is uncovered, Harker realizes a personal link to the ruthless killer and must act quickly to prevent another family murder.
