After premieres in the Venice competition, a Toronto splash and an eventual NYFF slot, Luis Ortega‘s Kill The Jockey is among the fourteen films selected for San Sebastián’s Horizontes Latinos section (which is essentially the best film fest circuit items of the new year that come from other Latin American nations. We have Sundance Grand Jury Prize winners Astrid Rondero and Fernanda Valadez with Sujo, Juliana Rojas’ Berlinale Encounters section fave in Cidade; Campo and Argentinean Cannes items in Most People Die On Sundays by Iair Said and Simon Of The Mountain by Federico Luis.
