With a selection of films dating back to last year’s Cannes such as Alexe Poukine’s Kika (read review), with generous helping of Venice Film Festival and select items such as Pete Ohs‘ Erupcja from TIFF (read review) and as recent as the Berlinale, the lineup has been announced for the 2026 edition of New Directors/New Films. The 55th edition takes place between April 8th to the 19th and they’ll open with Adrian Chiarella’s Leviticus (fresh from Sundance) and close with Rosanne Pel’s Donkey Days (which debuted at the Locarno Film Festival). We are looking at a dozen features, 17 North American premieres, and of course the shorts line-up:
