Cinema is an Ocean: Directors’ Fortnight Unveil 2015 Poster

You can always count on the Directors’ Fortnight folks to mix up the three poster arrangement that line up the Croisette each and every year. Unlike Cannes who revisit film history starlets (Ingrid Bergman this year) , as per usual, the Quinzaine tend to select non-cinema person or film specific icons and go for signature strong motifs in grey tones. Head-honcho Edouard Waintrop had this to say about the image (translation): Cinema is an ocean, and in these tumultuous times, it is not surprising that it is bubbling. Here is the comparison.
