Images in Pictures: First Batch from Carlos Reygadas’ Post Tenebras Lux

Date:

Of all the announcements made today, Carlos Reygadas’ Post Tenebras Lux is, going in, the film event of this year’s Cannes Film Festival. Feast your eyes on the first stills from his fourth feature film. Plus here’s the official synopsis: Juan and his young urban family live in the countryside of Mexico. There, they enjoy and suffer a world that understands life in a different way. Juan wonders if those worlds are complementary or, truly, they fight unconsciously to eliminate one another.
