Exclusive Poster One-Sheet for Gianni Di Gregorio’s ‘Damned If You Do, Damned If You Don’t’ – 2025 Venice Film Festival

Date:

All eyes are on the upcoming Locarno Film Festival (Naomi Kawase was just added to the comp with Yakushima’s Illusion) but we are already getting in ready-mode for the Venice Film Festival and we’ve got some poster art-work to premiere. Selected to close the Giornate degli Autori section, Mid-August Lunch (2008) and The Salt of Life (2011) Italian filmmaker Gianni Di Gregorio offers a slice of life no-win kind of situation with Damned If You Do, Damned If You Don’t (aka Come ti muovi, sbagli). Once again featuring himself, this is about a professor in his 70s who has crafted a peaceful life—free of hassles, filled with comforts and simple pleasures—until his daughter’s marital crisis and two chaotic grandchildren upend his tranquility. Di Gregorio’s most celebrated work was penning Matteo Garrone’s Gomorrah. Here is the poster below:
