2011 Sundance Predictions: Ti West’s The Innkeepers

Date:

#19. The Innkeepers – Ti West

Production on Ti West’s The Innkeepers has been completed mid year range. If the filmmaker is holding out, its because he possibly has Sundance (Park City at Midnight) or SXSW in mind. Distributor Dark Sky Films certainly would want a launch pad festival release for the film. This prediction is pure logic.

Sara Paxton and Pat Healy (Great World of Sound) star as Claire and Luke, the last two clerks left working the place before it’s scheduled to be shut down after over 100 years in business. Before that happens, they’re anxious to prove that the place does indeed have restless spirits dwelling within its walls, and subsequent odd occurrences seem to prove that they’re right.

* Producers: Derek Curl, Larry Fessenden, Peter Phok and Ti West
