Alejandro González Iñárritu’s Biutiful will receive a December release. Last time we checked, Roadside Attractions were circling the drama — and by all logic should announce a domestic distribution deal well before it screens in the much needed post Cannes spotlight in Toronto next September.

Alejandro González Iñárritu’s Biutiful will receive a December release. Last time we checked, Roadside Attractions were circling the drama — and by all logic should announce a domestic distribution deal well before it screens in the much needed post Cannes spotlight in Toronto next September. The December release would signify that Javier Bardem has a shot in the Best Actor category for the Oscars. Despite the god awful raspy voice in the U.K trailer and some of the film’s flaws, this film merits a well-deserved applause for Bardem’s work – which was honored at Cannes.
