For the time being, I think ad execs are more interested in pool of talents that cometh from the content creators that post video items on the web, but I predict in less than a decade from now, a premiere filmmaker with a name that ends in Spielberg,
Fincher or Scorsese will have gone the Youtube route to director fame
and fortune.

There is no red carpet yet for the event, but today’s inaugural Youtube awards might one day grab the kind of attention that the Oscars have done since it was first televised. Click here to see the dozen category winners (a varied bunch of “filmed
