First Look picks up the ‘Bill’ for Eckhart/Alba comedy

Date:

It was one of the last films to preem at TIFF, but it seems to have fetched a good chunk of change ($3 million) for GreeneStreet Films. The prod co. sold N.American rights to First Look Studios.

Bill is Melisa Wallack and Bernie Goldmann's directorial debut, and the story centers on Bill (Aaron Eckhart), who, fed up with his job, his wife (Elizabeth Banks) and his life, finds himself the reluctant mentor of an unruly teenager. His life hits an all-time low when he catches his wife having an affair. But with the help of Lucy (Jessica Alba), an intriguing saleswoman, he regains his lost sense of self.
