Klapisch’s love affair with ‘Paris’

Romance, lust and love are synonymous with France’s capitol and
apparently are trademark themes that the French filmmaker likes to work
with. First with L’Auberge Espagnole and followed by Russian Dolls, global audiences have had a love affair with Cédric Klapisch‘s pair of youthful portraits that romantically pit the genders against one another. More lessons in the game of love are expected with Paris, the film is receiving its local release (in France) right after Valentine’s Day, but will most likely not make its way here for a while. In the mean time here is the poster one-sheet and youtube trailer below.

While Pierre waits for the heart transplant that could save
his life, his sister Elise moves in to his apartment with her three children to
care for him. Pierre sees the world around him with new eyes now. From his
balcony, he watches life in the city move on in a joyous tangle of encounters
and emotions…
