Lady Chatterley wins 2006 Prix Louis-Delluc

Voted by a jury of 16 members,Pascale Ferran’s Lady Chatterley won the 64th Prix Louis Delluc for best feature of the year while the eighth Prix Louis Delluc for first film went to thesp Jean-Pierre Darroussin for “The Premonition” (Le Pressentiment).

Prize is named for pioneering film writer Louis Delluc (1890-1924), whose early insistence that cinema is an art form that can transcend storytelling makes him the spiritual father of French film criticism.

He is a Golden Globes Voter, member of the ICS (International Cinephile Society) and AQCC (Association québécoise des critiques de cinéma).
