Producers Guild Awards: No Country for Old Men adds to trophy case

Date:

Ask me two weeks ago who I thought was the front runner for most of the top Oscar categories and I would have said PTA’s There Will Be Blood. But after sweeping the DGAs and SAGs, the Coen brothers’ “No Country for Old Men” looks certain for the most coveted of them all. Late Saturday, Scott Rudin, Ethan Coen and Joel Coen won 2007’s Producers Guild Awards. while in television categories the honors went to “The Sopranos” (drama) and NBC’s “30 Rock” (comedy).
