Spain’s MediaPro backs Woody Allen’s next three projects

Date:

After years of making films with Benjamin Franklins, Woody Allen has discovered that, in the late stages of his filmmaking career, foreign production money is coming in handy, and in this case the Euro will be ever present in his future three films.

Screen Daily reports that Mediapro – the Spanish company who financed and co-produced Vicky Cristina Barcelona, are financing his next three films beginning in 2009.

The films will be co-produced by Gravier and have been set for production in 2009, 2010 and 2011 at undetermined locations.
