The Gist: This will examine the infamous abuse and torture of inmates held as suspected terrorists in the Iraqi prison (Abu Ghraib) located 20 miles west of Baghdad. The scandal was revealed in 2004 when photos of inmates being tortured were published around the world.

Fact: A companion book, co-written with Philip Gourevitch, will also appear in 2008.

See It: This is an Errol Morris film. The best documnetary filmmaker in the business.

Release Date/Status?: Will be premiering at the Berlin film festival this month selection and SPC will release this on April 18th..
