Top 100 Most Anticipated Films of 2010: Philip Seymour Hoffman’s Jack Goes Boating

He probably found confidence in seeing another broadway play in Doubt making a pretty good transition to the big screen, and there is a distinct feeling we are going meta here with the role found in Synecdoche, New York. I don’t think we need to mention the filmmakers he’s worked with, but one thing is assured: Hoffman gives it his all as an actor and is among the top 5 working actors of the 90’s and 00’s — so I expect the same commitment behind the camera.

Release Date/Status?: Opening at Sundance, Overture have yet to attach a date, but I imagine they’ll play it by ear, listen to the critics and make their marketing decisions from then on.
