Why is it on the list? Two films in two years? Yup. I’ve yet to see what Tran Anh Hung did with Josh Hartnett in I Come with the Rain since it prety much remained in the whereabouts of the Pacific Rim, but I imagine he might make the most with a storyline set in the 60’s because of his lush treatment with The Scent of Green Papaya and Cyclo. I’ve still got those box covers burned in my memory. Apparently the novel, is a recommended reading and with Rinko Kikuchi top-lining we might get somthing in the vein of The Dreamers.

Release Date/Status?: Currently in production, don’t be surprised if this ends up in Venice.
