Shot in some of the more touristy spots including the Louvre, the Musee d’Orsay, Charles de Gaulle International Airport and the Gare du Nord train station, this centers on a young New Yorker who seeks refuge from the pain of a difficult breakup, travels to France in search of distraction, quickly falls for an exotic woman and finds himself drawn into the dark underbelly of Paris. That project was fully financed by FilmHaven’s Matt Palmieri and produced Borderline Films’ Josh Mond and Sean Durkin. As will be the case on Campos’ third film, the family drama called “Momma” which is set to begin production for fall of 2011.

Campos will be most likely prepping Simon Killer for a possible Cannes premiere – which is to be expected since the festival were really big on his first film, the Un Certain Regard selected Afterschool.
