#51. Revenge for Jolly! – Chadd Harbold

Chadd Harbold got his first taste for the Sundance experience with the 2009 short film, Asshole and now via Brian Petsos’ screenplay (he also produces and toplines the pic) will make his feature debut. Revenge for Jolly! has a huge ensemble cast working for it including Oscar Isaac, Elijah Wood, Ryan Phillippe, Kristen Wiig and Adam Brody, this could be a high premium acquisitions comedy that would normally grab a Premieres category showing.

Gist: Written by Brian Petsos this follows a man (Petsos) who, with the help of his cousin (Oscar Isaac), seeks to avenge the death of his beloved dog, who was killed under confusing and suspicious circumstances. The two men follow a series of clues in an attempt to track down the dog’s murderer, leaving a path of destruction in their wake.

Producers: Brian Petsos, Aaron L. Ginsburg and William Green
