Error Prone: Noée Abita Navigates Cruel World in Victoria Musiedlak’s “La vie sauvage”

Production is due to begin next Monday on Victoria Musiedlak‘s feature debut and we’ve learned via Le Film Francais that Noée Abita will topline the project. We first reported on La vie sauvage back in July stating that the project would include Lyna Khoudri, Anders Danielsen and François Morel – we don’t know the status on the latter pair and we would imagine that Abita slipped into the role over Khoudri. We’ll confirm this shortly. Abita began her acting career with a bang in Léa Mysius’ Ava, a solid turn in Charlène Favier’s Slalom and had a complex bit part in Philippe Lesage’s Genesis. More recently she was in The Passengers of the Night (’22 Berlinale) and had a don’t blink or you will miss her supporting part in Mysius’ The Five Devils (’22 Quinzaine). We believe that ligne 2’s Camille Deleau and Antoine Denis are producing. This could either drop late 2023 or 2024.

Formerly titled “La Belle affaire,” Nora, 26, is a graduate and still lives with her parents. While Nora has no field experience, she finds herself in charge of a 19-year-old boy, accused of having murdered a girl from his residence. From her first police custody to the follow-up of the instruction, Nora discovers the cruelty of the world around her, in her intimate and professional life. Soon, carried away by the frenzy of her new life, she multiplies the errors.
