Eight American indie films that are in post production will be heading to the beautiful city of Wrocław for this year’s US in Progress — the co-production forum (17th to 19th November) that is part of the 17th TAURON American Film Festival in Wrocław. At the top of the eyebrows raising we find The Lonely Woman by Boy Harsher (Jae Matthews & Augustus Muller) – the American electronic music group and filmmaker tandem are currently on tour and on paper the project is a strong candidate for the upcoming Sundance edition in January. We also have Bone Lake helmer Mercedes Bryce Morgan shoring up Kate Might Die with Jimmi Simpson, Awkwafina, Anthony Ramos, and Zosia Mamet. Linoleum (SXSW 2012) helmer Colin West brings Outside of Cleveland – a romantic fantasy film with Alex Wolff and Brooklynn Prince. The event aims to foster professional networking between independent filmmakers from the United States and film professionals from Poland and Europe. Invite-only work-in-progress screenings will feature excerpts from eight projects selected by an international committee from a large and diverse pool of independent American feature films in the final stages of editing. Here are the eight 2026 US in Progress participants:
