Sidney Kimmel Seek Out ‘Old Timers’

Date:

On Broadway, I’m sure Noah Haidle (see pic) is a known personality, but in the script world – I believe this is his first. THR reports that the very selective Sidney Kimmel Entertainment have picked up Haidle’s spec script which sounds like a George Burns movie I saw a couple of times on cable.

Titled Old Timers, this follows two sixtysomething cons who have one final night to do everything they’ve wanted and reunite their gang before one of them meets his demise. Hope this turns out like the botched plans in Before the Devil Knows You’re Dead without the Danny Ocean elements.

Haidle’s plays include “Saturn Returns”, “Mr. Marmalade,” “Kitty Kitty Kitty” and “Persephone.”
