Fresnadillo makes a date for ‘Wednesday’

Date:

Perhaps known best for capturing ‘people in motion’, after a pair of chase-sequence films Intacto and more recently 28 Weeks Later, DreamWorks and producer Nina Jacobson have tapped helmer Juan Carlos Fresnadillo to direct the high-octane project going by the title of Wednesday.

Variety reports that the project will begin lensing
early next year and later be distributed by Paramount.  Written by Massy Tadjedin (The Jacket and the in the works Voyeur for Sony), this revolves around a desperate man who carjacks a young woman, setting off a high-speed car chase across Los Angeles.

Enrique Lopez Lavigne and Brad Simpson will also produce with Jacobson.
